Ohh shit just arrived in Melaka while taking a sit on my bed in the hostel i got bitten by bed bugs. The whole day while walking around i got more an more bit's. Arrr it looks so terrible. Fortunately i am travelling alone so nobody has to shame about me but i do about myself. Arr and tomorrow it goes on the ferry to Sumatra. Hmm as i already payed the room and got the bed bugs i will stay the night here. I hope i will survive :-) . Hmm now i understand why beside each bed is standing a insect spray and nobody else is staying here. Ok ok i have chosen the cheapest hostel in Melaka. The night cost you 2.50€ or 10rm but i can't recommend Little Nyonya Youth Hostel due to above mention reason. But i do have a private room for this amont as nobody wants to stay here :-) . I found some Vick Vaporub which i put on my skin in my helplessness. I will tell you later after the night if it helped and would be an insider tip :-)

Melaka is a nice cozy town you can easily discover in one day if you don't want to book you some tours which i usually not do. Melaka is together with George town in Malaysia a world heritage city being inscribed by UNESCO. When you arrive here by bus as i did you can take the panorama bus to come to the most famous place the Christ church. Around there you can find hostels. From there don't miss the jonker walk which is actually china town district. On this walk try some chicken rice balls which are typical for Melaka. Close to the Jonker street you can pay for a boat tour what i haven't done as it was to touristic for me:-) . If you walk a little more further from the boats tour place you can see a big wooden ship which should remember about the history of Melaka. Melaka was once almost only water and the people where working as fisher.  Continue your way and turn into Jln Melaka street there you will see a big  view tower i wouldn't pay for it as some few meters on the same site you can climb up a hill at pora de Santiago which gave you almost the same view. From Melaka you can take you a ferry/jetti to Dumai on Sumatra island. It cost 30€ or 119rm. Thats what i will do.

Just some beside story. I did contact the German embassy in Jakarta as i wanted to know if they could help me with my stolen international driver license. They replied immediately even when the answer was no.

My souvenir from Malaysia even just for a short time :-) . But the clock will be an memory to Malaysia. My old clock was already broken since almost 3 month but i was still wearing them as a memory to my ex girl friend.

My visit of my ex company. As you can see i did cut my beard :-) . When i came to Hong Kong while entering the border they were asking me if i am that on such passport pic. That moment i realize i should might be do something. It was quite funny to have it done. The barber i went to was in a small street not a place at all where a tourist would go and they couldn't speak english at all. I was so scared when he start to shave. Actually he didn't understood really well as he did start to also cut my hair. Hmm or might be he was realizing that it was the time to let them cut :-)

I was so happy to be able to see those guys from Panalpina Hong Kong even when i came across without any pre-info. I just told the reception that i am Manuel Bisten from the IT CCEU. It was nice to be able to say this once again even when i was lying at that moment as i am not more a part of those company even i still feel like that. We had nice chats about PA internals.

Be early over there as the place is always really packed.

From Puerto Igazu Waterfalls i did my last journey into South America by plane in one night :-)

Puerto Igazu - Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires - Sao Paulo

Sao Paulo - Salvador

In Salvador (Brasil) i arrived the 2nd time while travelling South America which i haven't done anywhere else. Where everything did start it also ends :-). Before i left South America respectively Brazil i went for a churrascaria (Fogo de Chão) to enjoy the last time the meet from over there.  Wow it was a really posh place but i was wearing the best clothes i have with me so it was ok :-) Followed by a last good acai. Yummy!!! At all it was not cheap but as i saved the days before i was allowing myself to spend such money. From Salvador i took the flight to .... GERMANY .... Yes i was back to GER for 8hours which was a strange feeling. The people over there was cold and i feel not at home at all. So after reading of lot of newspapers and magazines which was the only one i did i took the following flights:

Franfuft - London

London - HongKong

WELCOME ASIA/HongKong

I flew with Quantas. Wow this was actually the best service in a plane i ever could enjoy.

Wed, 22 Feb 2012 18:01:00 -0800 Bolivia-Potosi http://wobistn.posterous.com/bolivia-potosi http://wobistn.posterous.com/bolivia-potosi

In Potosi onetime the richest town in the world that what at least the people over there are telling you i visit one of the mines. In such mines they found a lot of silver in the past that's why they became rich. Nowadays still sometime people found a lot. All the miners are independent so what they find they win. I went with bigDeal(80 Bolivianos) tours which offer a really good tour. The guys who doing it are all ex miners and they are really not professional but this makes it nice as you feel you go there with some friends who wants to share with you there experiences. You will drink a lot down under but this is a part how they life and you don¨t need to drink something if you not feel like that. But i would recommend it at least some few sip as they offering you some local liquor. In Potosi i spend just some few days to see the Mines. I stayed in Kola Hostel(40 Bolivianos which nice breakfast incl. fruits) which also offering a miner tour  as almost each in this small nice town but they offering it for 100 Bolivianos. After my cam had been stolen the days before i had good luck to met nice people from Sweden and Israel which took pic for me.

Sun, 22 Jan 2012 12:50:40 -0800 Peru - Cuzco(Part1) http://wobistn.posterous.com/peru-cuzcopart1 http://wobistn.posterous.com/peru-cuzcopart1

From Buenos aires short after my birthday i took a airplane to Bolivia (santa cruze) from there another flight to la paz (bolivia) where i had an over night stay. I decided to finish my long day in a bar close to my hostel. Immediately after i ordered my beer someone beside my table came across and took my beer away to have it shared with friends. I was looking quite stupid but then another guy talked to me to invited me to drink my beer together and then also to share there drinks. wow those drings was so strong. all guys were professors from a uni in la paz. one guy was talking the whole night in German with me as he have been to Dresden for a long time. I finished drunken and was happy to still reached my hostel. The early morning  i had a flight to peru cuzco. Within 24h i managed to be in 3 countries :-).  Like that it was the cheapest way to arrive cuzco where i wanted to be early to go for machu picchu before heavy rain season. 3 weeks cuzco and around was meaning a lot of parties all the days what i haven't had since long long time and even not i  buenos aires :-) as well hikes about several days. Since i met Wael & Andreas at the couch surfing meeting we did all the days something together. Even i wasn't motivated to stay out so long i always end up till the morning :-) . In cuzco i was eating once again a burger from McDonald's...BUT that's not the food you should have here, actually nowhere, in the world :-).  So i decided to go for an guinea pig which isn't that much cheap. Food in peru can be really cheap if you know where to go. Actually quite easy just go to places which looks not nice and then you will find menu turismo for 2.5 soles that's 0,70€ cent . Usually its include a soup, main dish and a coca tea. Coca Tea helps against problems with the attitude which i never had but the tea is anyway delicious. My guinea pig experiences wasn't good as we were looking for the cheapest place and i got just a little piece with almost only skin and not a lot of meet. so i swear me to go another time somewhere else. Often we start our nights at a local bar which brewed their on alcohol with a lot of herbs in. Yummy that stuff was delicious and because it was really sweet you were always noticed the alcohol to late :-)

Before xmas i went then to machu picchu by inca jungle trail for 180$. i wanted to join the inca trail but this cost you 300$ and sometimes more. The differences are that the inca jungle just 1 day of trekking on the original inca trail and the other 3 days you'll have a lot of adventure program. So my trail wasn't visiting the other archaeological places you could see while hiking inca trail :-( .  Actually first i was quite disappointed but then i realize that if you see machu picchu its already enough. On my tour i did down hill biking, rafting for my first time and zip lining. Wow rafting make addicting. The instruction we got made me really scared but when you start it becomes fun pour. Our trip was already rafting level 3-4 from 5 so not the best for a beginner :-) Zip lining at such a place just a must. Hm  i don't know why know why i did trust the zip so much as i started quite early after the first tour from 6 to find more adventure or adrenalin. I went for up side down while which is so crazy as you feel to fly while just a little part at you hips keep you on track... Hmm i starting to ignore my boarders and just to try everything even it could cost my life. Also for the biking i was going over limits and the guide had to stop me a lot of times.

Machu Piccu is awesome. When we arrived there we had bad luck with the weather means heavy rain and it was freezing cold. Some of the guys from my tour give up early and went down. During rain season i still don't understand why our guide wanted us to have been there in the early morning as for me its quite usual to have rain in the mountains while morning time at rain season. Anyway i decided to stay there till the weather becomes better what ever it cost. At 10 it stopped to rain and at 11 clouds disappear. at 12 we had crazy sun and it got sunburned. I had a picnic at Manchu picchu while a bird was joining me quite close...(see pic). what i should tell you about that place? Actually for me he had something magical. Imagine what the manged to built up high in the mountains. I got chicken skin when i had my first view..
